What We Do
We provide workshops and classes ranging in duration from one-hour to ongoing weekly courses custom made for your needs.
All classes are based on the eight-step curriculum, The Circle Process for Collaboration , to develop the skills needed on the spiraling path to personal and social accomplishment and peace. Various creative exercises establish bonds of connection and communication, enhancing problem-solving and true collaboration.
Incorporating nonverbal communication techniques such as dance, yoga, martial arts, emotional sign language as well as verbal theatre-building, a unique experiential learning experience that encompass both the emotional and physical spectrums establish bonds of connection and communication. Our peacebuilding techniques are adaptable to a wide range of cross-cultural issues ranging from past war trauma to addressing personal everyday fears and stresses.
We have had great success using this approach in the Greater Washington DC area at such oganizations such as Asian American LEAD, and The Latin American Youth Center. We were able to achieve documented results in working with impoverished youth, gang-members, and refugees. We believe that our success lies also with the fact that while teaching and learning, we are also having fun!
By using The Circle Process for Collaboration as a framework, we can shape it to work with any number of potential programs.
